The Mavizen TTx02 Electric Sportsbike..

The organisers of the TTxGP e-bike Grand Prix series showcased their new electric superbike at the Speciality
Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas.  The snazzily named Mavizen TTx02 is version 2.0 of the machine that won the first TTxGP in June of this year, and is designed as a jumping on point for race teams looking to enter the 2010 race.

Based on the same drive system as the previous TT winner this bike has three differently rated battery packs allowing short run high speeds or moderately high speeds over enough of a distance to cover the TT course.

All the control systems onboard are Linux based with USB connectivity to be found under the fuel cap.  It alos has a webserver and wi-fi built in so if lost you could consult the web, or post any mishaps to YouTube from the haybail you’re lodged in!  Only 50 are scheduled to be made so rush to the bank for the £25,000/$40,000 you need to drive off with one.
